In Memory of Gerald R. "Jerry" Decker
Jerry Decker and his wife, Dee, have been part of the Caden Ingram Foundation family from the beginning. Their guidance, generosity, and unwavering support of our family and the Foundation's mission have left a lasting mark on everything we do.
Jerry's place in Caden's life and our Foundation
Jerry was also one of the steady men in Caden's life. As Caden grew older, their conversations naturally evolved into opportunities for Jerry to ask about his plans, encourage him, and offer advice. It was never formal or forced. Jerry was simply there, and Caden always made time for him.
After Caden's passing, Jerry and Dee once again stood beside our family and helped make his beautiful celebration of life at Admirals Cove possible. Their support continued as the Foundation grew from grief into scholarships, awareness, education, and service to young people.
At Dee's request, those wishing to honor Jerry may make a memorial gift to the Caden Ingram Foundation in lieu of flowers. These gifts will support the Foundation's established charitable mission and continue the work that Jerry and Dee helped nurture.
We are honored to remember Jerry and profoundly grateful for the place he held in Caden's life, our family, and the Foundation.
